Tonga has been struck by Severe Tropical Cyclone Gita causing widespread destruction.
Emergency authorities say about 70 per cent of the population has been affected and shortage of food and water is a significant problem.
Whilst we continue assessing the situation, MAA aims to reach 200 families by providing them with emergency kits, which include food, tarpaulin, and rope.
Once the damage assessment to the homes have been completed, we'll be able to have a clearer picture of the costs to rebuild and repair homes.
How you can help
We urgently need your help to purchase 200 Emergency Kits for $100 each to cover the initial distribution.
Please donate generously to help those affected by the Cyclone.
