What Is MAA's Special Orphan & Widow Qurban?

MAA's new Qurban - Orphan & Widow option guarantees that your Qurban will be distributed to orphans and widow-headed families in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Rohingya Refugee camps, Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, India, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Yemen for AU$250. By participating in this program, you can earn the rewards for four significant good deeds: performing Qurban, looking after an orphan, helping a widow, and feeding the poor.

    The Urgent Need for Support

Orphans and widows are among the most vulnerable populations in many countries. They face immense challenges, including inadequate shelter, lack of access to healthcare, and severe food insecurity. Malnutrition, particularly among children, persists due to insufficient access to nutritious food and healthcare services.

Your donation can help alleviate these challenges by providing essential nutrition, restoring dignity, and bringing hope and joy during the blessed days of Eid.

    How You Can Help

By donating $250, you can provide a Qurban share to orphan or widow-headed families, helping to alleviate malnutrition and hunger.

Note: At MAA, we believe we have a duty to fight injustice at every level, big and small. It’s not enough to give aid to the most vulnerable and marginalised after harm has befallen them; we must stand up for them and empower their voices. To fulfil our collective obligation, MAA may dedicate a portion of your sadaqah donations to this cause to create change and dismantle the forces that harm the most marginalised.
