Clean Water for Rohingya Refugees
Muslim Aid Australia sent aid to the refugees of Rohingya by constructing  a water well in Blang Ado Village, Kuta Makmur Sub-district, North Aceh. Once the construction was completed, the water facility was handed over to the refugees representative.

"I feel honored and thankful to be the representative of the refugees," said Mahmud Rasyid. "This water facility is vital and very much needed by all of us here."

According to Rasyid, this water well will be useful for cooking at the soup kitchen and also for other washing and cleaning activities such as taking a shower.

"This well belongs to the public, we will take care of it," he said.

Not forget to mention, this well is a water source that's built independently by Muslim Aid in collaboration with Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Indonesia (YKMI).

During the month of Ramadan, MAI and Muslim Aid Australia distribute drinking water for 150 families, water tanks provision at the shelter for all the refugees as well as volunteers, toiletries for 150 families, as many as 150 female and children undergarments, and 150 praying apparels for both female and male refugees.
