What are your admin fees?v

MAA has a 100% donation policy for any donations made towards specific programmes or campaigns such as Orphan Aid or Emergency Aid. For general donations, there are 5 groups of expenses categorised by NGOs: Distributed Funds & Project Pipeline Administration International Projects Support Marketing & Fund-raising Community Development & Education MAA's Revised Admin, and Fundraising & Marketing percentage is 4.06%. The Revised Admin Cost is defined as the balance of the admin cost, after the direct donation contribution made by donors towards MAA's administration expenses.

How does MAA ensure funds are distributed accurately?v

For over 30 years, MAA has been at the forefront of ensuring that every donation is used efficiently and effectively. Our commitment is to deliver unwavering support to the world’s most vulnerable communities. To keep our donors informed, we publish an Annual Report every year. Are my donations Tax Deductible?v

Yes, all donations made to MAA are 100% tax deductible. This is not restricted to any specific campaigns or projects. If you have not received a tax deductible receipt for a donation you have made please contact us on 1800 100 786 or email care@maainternational.org.au. To make this process easy, please also include the date of payment and the campaign you donated towards.

How do I update my credit card details?v

You can update your credit card details using one of the following two options; Via our Website: Step 1: Sign in to your MAA Account. Step 2: Select Future payment. Step 3: Select Change Card Detail. Step 4: Enter your new card details, and select the Update. You can also Call us on 1800 100 786 or +61 2 8016 9500.

How do I cancel my recurring donations?v

To cancel your recurring donation, send us an email care@maainternational.org.au with the following details, and we'll contact you as soon as possible: Full Name on Card, Recurring Donation ID (you can find this on your donation receipt), Email Address, and type "Request to cancel recurring donation," in the subject line.

How do I create an MAA account?v

To create an account, click on the “Sign In” link on the top right of the page and fill out the form under “New to MAA?” Once the form is properly filled out, click “Register” on the bottom of the page. Creating an account will give you a personal Donor ID which you may quote when contacting us for information on orphan sponsorship, past or current donations or to receive Tax Receipts. Your MAA account will also allow you to keep track of your current and past donations for tax deductibility and donation management purposes.
